If you like American cars, there’s a building in Lincoln, NE, you’ll want to visit. Just be sure to get an invitation, because the Kuck Motorsports Collection is a private collection not open to the public. However, if you do get in you’re in for an unbelievable treat. I was lucky enough to be invited to attend a fundraising event for the local Performing Arts community (through my grandmother, who’s very involved with the theater, symphony, etc), and I was in for a shock. An incomplete list of the cars I found inside is as follows:

2005 Ford GT
Omitted from this list were a couple dozen “gassers”, funny cars, and other 1/4 mile drag racing cars, as well as a handful of custom hotrods.
*None of these photos were taken by me. The asterisk indicates a picture of the actual car in the collection, as opposed to a picture of an identical car.
Unfortunately, at the time of my visit, photography was not permitted due to people using the picture in fake “for sale” ads. I had my phone out to take down the above list, and as soon as I walked in, a lady approached me to make sure I wasn’t taking pictures. She was very pleased when I told her I was taking notes of the cars I was seeing. As it turned out, she and her husband were the owners of the collection, and she was more than happy to show me around, demonstrate some of the features on the cars (including the golf club holder on one of the Auburns and the Dixie Horn on the Charger, which startled a few people) and above all, talk all things cars. Of course I talked to her about her pride and joy, the incurably rare and even more beautiful Duisenberg SJ. I probably looked like a weirdo standing there gaping at that car for so long. I also met her husband, who showed me around the Packard Hawk. They drive all of the cars, including in classic car rallies and on the race track. It’s good to know such an astounding collection of metal is so close to home, and in the hands of such fantastic car people. And I got invited to come back “anytime”, which is a nice invitation to have.

Kinja sucks ass.

And only one Oldsmobile? Of course it’s a 1970 W30... How original. In fact, while I’m sure they’re all nice cars, I’d be more interested in obscure/weird/”undesirable” stuff as opposed to the super rare trailer queen high end stuff.

Then this collection isn’t for you.

Kinja has taken the “pretty sure that’s a Lambo dude” meme and Camaro’d it.

Wow who knew so many cars looked like a camaro?

It’s the new Honda Accord.
The Allard was powered by a Cadillac V8, so they didn’t forget about Caddy entirely.

And people say all cars look alike now a days...

Oh I know all about Allards. There’s a regular customer of mine who dailies a J-2X from May-October. Dudes like 80, too.

That’s very cool. You should do a post about that with pics of the car, very much worthy material.
